Children
Even when a child is no longer a "little" one, he or she can still cause just as much stress and worry in the parent's lives.
My 17 y/o has been having gastrointestinal issues off an on for years, and things just seem to keep getting worse for her. We've tried the last trick her doctor said we have before doing testing, and she has an appointment today to see what that will be. Seeing and hearing her so miserable just kills me; and searching on the internet for any home help ideas or advice has been difficult.
I have the same problem, and I have since I was her age. I still will have waves of nausea come over me and feel faint, but I've learned to deal with it because I'm told there's nothing wrong. She's my kid though, and enough is enough. I'm afraid the vomiting is going to damage her esophagus, and then of course there is the problem that is causing this. She's lost a lot of weight, and although she is trying to lose weight, I think it's been too fast. I don't know, sometimes I feel like I'm overreacting, and other times I feel like I've waited too long. But, we've been seeing a doctor, and I will continue to be vigilant from now on.
This needs to be resolved. I'm out of patience, and my daughter deserves better.

So good! I'm already hooked for the next book coming out next year! Great mystery that spans hundreds of years. Intelligent writing and thorough research really stands out. I highly recommend this book.

Everquest..What?

We met in EQ in...2000 I think it was (Could have been 1999), and were married in 2002. So, with our 11th anniversary coming up next month, I think we got a little nostalgic.
Yeah, that's crazy, right? Frickin' EQ, lol.

This book was a free offer from I love Vampire Novels. I am so glad I got it! It's not a vampire novel, but it does fall into the young adult category, heavy on the "adult". I was hooked from the very beginning, and was pleasantly surprised as questions were answered. I will most certainly be reading the next book in the series. Well done Mr. Bryan.
